ABOUT SUBRAMANYA YOGA CENTRE
The Subramanya community was founded in 2006 to help support others by sharing the powerful practices of classical yoga, meditation and breath work. Since then, our inclusive environment has evolved, adopting new age modalities to improve mental and physical well-being. Subramanya’s mission is to give our students a judgement-free space to explore yoga. We encourage students to find new levels of possibility in their bodies and minds to improve overall health.

We offer a variety of yoga classes, both in person and virtual, suited to all levels and abilities. We encourage you to try different classes and discover what works best for you.
Based on the 12 basic postures of yoga, this class is suitable for all levels to develop a strong, healthy body and mind.
Hot Vinyasa Flow
A challenging and alignment based class focused on linking the breath, body, and mind with movement.
Another challenging class focused on moving through 26 postures. A modification to the Bikram routine.
Therapeutic Back Care
If you have back issues, this is the class for you! We combine gentle movement and proper breathing to improve spine and hip health.
Breath Work with Sound Bath
Relax and recharge through breath work and the healing sounds of crystal and Tibetan singing bowls.
Breath Work with Ice Bath
Feel the power of breath work and cold exposure training. The ice bath at the end of class is always optional!
You can just do a drop in class or we offer yoga class packages in groups of 5, 10, 20, or 30. The larger the package, the more you save!
We offer unlimited one and three month membership options. This allows you access to all yoga classes except the Breath Work classes.

What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable clothing that allows for movement. Nothing too baggy as it may get in your way!
What do I bring?
A yoga mat and yourself! A water bottle is a good idea too.
What if I've never done yoga?
There’s no better time to start! We guide our students through all elements of our classes and demonstrate postures when needed, so you have nothing to worry about! We encourage you to arrive 15 minutes early so we can show you around and get you settled.
What if I'm not flexible?
Yoga is a wellness practice and does not require flexibility! This is something that develops through practice. At our Centre, we see people of all ages and abilities.
What do I bring for Hot Yoga?
Do not eat 2 hours before class, try to come hydrated, and bring a towel for your mat.
What if I can't do a posture?
We always provide modifications to postures, and help guide you to practice within your comfort zone.
